Hermes

Hermes, the winged messenger whose message is adventure. Converted from a 2010 Ford Transit VM LWB, Hermes was designed for a solo traveller seeking ample clothing storage, comfortable sleeping, and minimal dining area needs.

The removable single and dual butane burners permit cooking both inside and outside beneath a 2.6m Fiamma F45s awning.

Hermes offers extensive storage accessible through the rear barn doors. This winged messenger takes adventure seriously!

Layout and Design

Hermes was designed with storage in mind. As there would primarily be one traveller, fixed seating was relocated to an island bench and extension table. Alongside the standard double bed, the drivers side wall features extensive clothing storage, and compartments for personal effects.

Electrical

A fixed single 200W solar panel charges a single 120AH AGM battery via a Renogy Solar MPPT Charger. 12v and USB power sockets provide accessible power, couple with a twin socket 2000W inverter.

Plumbing

Water storage is provided in the form of a single internal 60L water tank plumbed to the kitchen tap. Waste water is collected beneath the sink, and drains through the underside of the vehicle.
